Bi-Fold Door

Definition

A door with panels connected by hinges, that slide along a track and fold together when opened. They are often used for closets.

Things you need to know

Bi-fold doors make it easier to see into a closet than sliding doors, because they fold back completely out of the way, whereas a sliding door will always block at least half the closet.
